Trek Session 8 27.5

£0.00

Session 8 is the DH mountain bike with a park-focused geometry that shines on big hits at the bike park. It's built with a burly aluminium frame, 200 mm/210 mm front and rear suspension and a SRAM GX DH parts group chosen to stand up to the roughest lines you can find.

You're a regular on the lifts and at the bike park. You're looking for a playful, versatile, durable DH rig with proven performance and a park-ready geometry, and want a lot of tech for your money.

An Alpha Platinum Aluminium frame with Mino Link adjustable geometry, a 200 mm RockShox Boxxer Select fork with plush DebonAir spring, 210 mm of rear travel with an adjustable FOX Performance VAN shock, 27.5? Bontrager Line DH 30 wheels, SRAM Guide R brakes and a DH-specific SRAM GX 7-speed drivetrain. Race, rip, ride. This bike does it all.

Fast, durable, agile and stable. Session 8 is fully capable of taking on the gnarliest descents, the biggest jumps and the burliest trails. It's a versatile, confidence-inspiring ride with the best in DH tech and a geometry that's not so low and long that it doesn't play nicely at the park.
- Session 8 has the heart of a monster truck: it rolls over everything, gives you the confidence to take on rougher trails and saves you when you don't take the right line
- The quality suspension set-up paired with our ABP frame design is made to keep you in control
- The durable, DH-specific 7-speed drivetrain keeps things simple, so you can focus on shredding and getting rad
- Mino Link lets you make small adjustments to your geometry quickly and easily, even mid-ride
- 27.5 wheels are great for flicking the bike around through the most technical trails

Active Braking Pivot
Active Braking Pivot allows our engineers to tune how the suspension reacts to acceleration and braking forces independently. That means you get more confident control when you need it most.

Looks like a World Championship
Trek Factory Racing's Reece Wilson charged his way into the rainbow jersey aboard Session this year, taking all the right risks on a slick course and carving his name in Downhill's history books with a truly gutsy run.
