The R4 Tempo Overcurve from Fi'zi:k showcases a timeless design combined with advanced construction techniques. The durable polyurethane laminated material is layered over a comfortable mesh, providing long-lasting foot support while reducing yield.

The closure system is powered by a microadjustable BOA IP1 dial in an Overcurve pattern. Overcurve is a unique shoe construction that features a staggered collar, contouring to the natural misalignment of the ankle's lateral and medial malleoli. This results in an asymmetrical shape, with the shoe's throat curving over the foot from the outside to the inner side.

The R4 outsole is moderately stiff, striking a perfect balance between comfort and pedalling efficiency. With a new and lower profile, it is structurally optimized with 15% infused carbon fiber. The R4 outsole also offers efficient ventilation and internal channelling for temperature management. The cleat positioning is slightly further rearwards compared to traditional settings, optimizing pedalling efficiency and reducing knee compression, making it ideal for aggressive and forward aero positions.
