This particular chainring is designed specifically for use with CN-M9100, 8100, and 7100 12spd Hyperglide+ chains from Shimano. Its unique thickness and tooth shape make it incompatible with other chains. 

The Oval XT M8000/MT700 chainring from AbsoluteBLACK is a premium 1X traction chainring designed for Shimano XT M8000, SLX M7000, and MT700 1x or 2x cranks only. It fits both boost and non-boost bikes as the correct offset is achieved through the crank spider itself, not the chainring. Bolts are included with the chainring.

Available in four sizes, each with built-in standoffs to ensure the ideal 1X chainline:

The ovality of the chainring is optimized for each size individually, ranging from 10.2% to 14.4%, with a timing of 110.5° to 116.3° after TDC (top dead center). This design is patent pending.
