The Crankbrothers Synthesis Alloy Enduro 27.5 Boost i9 Rear SRAM XD is a part of the crankbrothers tuned wheel system, featuring an aluminium range. With a focus on ride characteristics, these wheels have a compliant front wheel and a stiff rear wheel. The compliant front wheel improves handling and control in turns, while the stiff rear wheel enhances stability and tracking at high speeds. In the alloy range, these characteristics are achieved through variations in spoke tension, weight, count, rim width, and rim weight. The range includes models for Enduro, XC/Trail, and E-bikes, catering to a wide range of riders. There are two hub options available for Enduro and XCT models - a crankbrothers hub and an i9 1/1 hub, both providing 4 degrees of engagement. Additionally, the Enduro and XCT rim are available separately for custom wheel building. The rear wheel features an inner rim width of 29.5 mm, a spoke count of 32, and Sapim Race spokes. It weighs 1018g for the 27.5 size and 1048g for the 29 size. The hub engagement is 4 degrees.
